The Stahlstern builds on the more advanced MILLE GT C2 EVO series. Assos has opened up the front of the collar and optimized the fit around the chest and neck, reducing pressure for less restriction and easier breathing.
The sleeves and collar are made of a new material that is nearly 30% lighter than the sleeve material of previous jerseys, but still maintains the highly elastic, enveloping fit with active moisture management. The new sealing at the hem and zipper reduces friction between layers as well as wrinkling at the abdomen in riding position.

The jersey's main fabric is BIG DUAL Tex, a lightweight interlocking circular knit for quick-drying breathability, equipped with odorControl technology. The new Speedy textile of the sleeves and collar weighs only 130 g/m², so it's an ultra-light, quick-drying material with a body-hugging and supportive fit. The pockets are stabilized with Sens Strong, a breathable warp knit fabric with a honeycomb structure.
