GTS marks the birth of the second generation MILLE - brand new bib shorts based on the iconic GT for the most comfortable fit, with soft double layer padding, new, more supportive fabrics to combat muscle fatigue and a revised fit. They're a must-have for pro riders looking for extra comfort in training, or for amateur riders looking for maximum support on long-distance rides.

Assos has adopted the two-piece butterfly design of the S9 race shorts to further enhance comfort, keep the padding securely in place during movement and prevent chafing with reduced seams. The Xbib straps with the additional stabilizing A-Frame on the back, ensure that the shorts remain optimally in position during the ride.

The new fabric OSSIDIA - specially developed for MILLE GT c2 - creates the ideal balance between pleasant wearing comfort and muscle-supporting support. The circular knit fabric is made from ultra-thin, elastic fibres for a snug fit, breathability and velvety comfort around your lower back and thighs. The resulting fit is a more efficient, close-fitting regularFit, ideal for all riders and all riding styles.

At the heart of the GTS is a completely redesigned pad. The starting point was the GT's pad with its double-layer memory foam and honeycomb overlay.

This multi-layer padding system provides targeted support for the sit bones and, with its 3D structure and kraterCooler ventilation openings, ensures optimum ventilation and maximum comfort.

• GTS Summer pad: A new pad for the Mille GTS series, composed of two different foams with the patented honeycomb upper material - further developed for optimal support and breathability especially for the very long days in the saddle.
• 3D waffle: A patented three-layer perforated foam that increases breathability and has no excess weight.
• kraterCooler: A system of small holes in the front of the pad that promote air exchange, keeping your sensitive body parts cool.
• goldenGate: A patented process technique that interrupts the seams along the sides of the pad, allowing for increased three-dimensional freedom of movement in this sensitive, ever-moving area.
