The limited-edition Wings of Speed Jersey pays tribute to the Greek myth of Hermes Son of Zeus. God of speed. With winged sandals made of gold, Hermes moves faster than the wind. The myth of Hermes serves as inspiration for this limited-edition Wings of Speed Jersey, our second in the ASSOS Greek Myth series. Featuring the iconic racing-series “A” in gold across the chest and a detailed wing pattern mapped across the back, this jersey is cut in our signature second-skin racing fit platform, proven in the harshest racing environments.

FEATURED FABRICS

The front panel uses our proven circular knit miniCheck Tex, which balances breathability and moisture management duties with its highly elastic 3D knit. At the rear, our Stabilizer textile secures the jersey with its limited vertical-stretch composition, preventing sagging when the pockets are loaded up. “Push Pull” is used for the sleeves, yoke, and pockets, which needed to be as smooth and flexible as possible.

CONSTRUCTION/FIT

Bringing the jersey together is an ultralight zipper, low-volume waist, and raw-cut sleeves for stitch-free comfort and hold. In the back we added a lighter elastic on the hem for further weight savings. Fit is a true ASSOS aero race fit.

ENGINEERING

Bonded seams: We like our aerodynamic seams bonded, not sewn, reducing bulk, drag, and potential for irritation. A clean finish indicative of engineering expertise and meticulous design.

Raw-Cut Sleeves: Eliminating transitional ridges on the sleeves removes an aerodynamic impediment from the jersey’s leading edge. We omit restrictive taping for a truly lie-flat, unrestrictive finish.

Triple Ramp Pockets: Pre-structured to increase capacity and stability while loaded. A flap secures personal effects, and an earphone port in the right pocket keeps headphone or radio wires discreet.

Lightweight Rear Hem: A wide, secure elastic hem ensures a frictionless hold.
